Kelsie Pejsa
Kelsie Pejsa received her BS in Animal Science from Montana State University. Following college she took a job at the Oregon Regional Primate Research Center where she received extensive training in primate handling, veterinary technical skills and management. After three years at the ORPRC she was looking for more involvement in research and was offered a position in the Andersen lab in 2001. Kelsie is currently the lab manager responsible for managing the animal colony which includes performing surgical procedures, animal training, writing and oversight of the protocols and training of personnel. She is also managing human clinical trials with regulatory requirements for the FDA and IRB's at multiple institutions. Kelsie oversees the day to day operation of the lab including acting as the safety officer.
Outside of work she is married and has a beautiful daughter. Kelsie and her family enjoy traveling, horseback riding, and running. She is also an avid estate saler and enjoys hunting for treasures on the weekends.
